I received a most wondrous package from Gaijin yesterday and will post pics tomorrow as the light is fading today. It was filled with all kinds of fabric and other goodies.

Prayers for your surgery and recovery catjo. heronfan, I remember selling the World's Finest as a fundraiser for our school-so good.

I missed the swap this month and I got a wonderful surprise package yesterday from Marietta. I tried posting last night but some how it didn't post. and now the opened packages picture won't post. will try to see if I can get the other pics to upload.

Ok hopefully this shows the wonderful opened presents. yea it did work this time. So the magazines and patterns are showing in the wrapped picture as is the little tote the gifts were in. the fabrics were all lovely, the batik with stars is on top and a cute little sewing machine ornament, which is memorable as my machine quit working last Thurs. and found out needs a gear replaced, with labor cost about $200, so need to decide whether to fix my 35 year old machine or buy a new one. (or maybe both-shhh don't tell dh I'm thinking of doing this one). All the notions will definitely be useful, the poka dot strip is a ruler that curls up like a braclet. Thank you again Marietta.

Oh I forgot to also post a reply to Anoka -- Yes I received one of your dishcloths in a previous swap and I love the knit or crochet dish cloths. I am saving the red and white one you made to use now at Christmas. It is very lovely and deserves to be used the first time on a special day.

Great packages coming in. Finally here's a pic of the one Gaijin sent me. It was filled with fabrics, some of which are for the charity quilts I make, needles, book, cat toy, a shopping bag from Japan, and Reisen (my favourite). And one wrapped Christmas package for my cat and me to open on Christmas -- what a treat! Thank you, Deborah.
