Well, I've had mine packaged and ready to go for 2 weeks and they are still here! Putting them in the mail Monday, hopefully will be to you by Wed. Sorry they will be late, makes me mad because I've had them ready so long. Oh well, looking forward to the return package.

I just ordered some more padded Flat rate envelopes and found that the PO has forever Flat rate postage envelopes. You order them in groups of 3 -

All bags are in their envelopes. Will take to PO tomorrow - if the eclipse doesn't cause the world to end! One would think it might from all of the hype. Chattanooga is within 30 miles of the Totality band. It is crazy - the media is estimating that 1.5 M people will travel to TN for it. Schools are out for the day and many are renting out their greenspaces as campsites.

Thanks to all who participated. A lot of great fabrics have been swapped out. If I made a mistake and didn't send you the correct amount of baggies please let lme know. I tried to not send you back your own fabric and also to limit repeats other than to those who requested them or who regularly use them.

Thank you for your notes and tuck-ins in the envelopes - I appreciate you thinking of me!

If you haven't received your envelope by the end of the week, please let me know. I have all of the tracking numbers.

When you are shopping for future swaps, please remember one point - find fabrics that have easily recognized objects for kids. Floral prints are not acceptable for the swap. Plus muted small all over prints are not what the swap is about. I found a few fabrics today that should not have been in the swap. But since I was gone for a good part of the time and was unable to go over the baggies as they arrived, I felt that I didn't have many options but to let them go through. In future swaps, you will be contacted to send more fabric or the baggies go back unswapped. I don't want to have to take a hard attitude and turn people away, but it may be the only solution.

Thanks for your understanding. Comments are welcome - you can PM me.

DGKids love the small print & counted 12 penguins on one block then added the big penguin "Mom" & "Dad" block & had a penguin family, lol! They did math & social representations! They are 5 & 6 yrs old. Proud Memaw here!
hugs,
dj

There are a lot of things that can be learned from and I Spy Quilt - I love tucking in small little things for kids to "hunt" for.

I have a friend who smocked a lot of dresses for her granddaughter and always embroidered a butterfly somewhere in the dress. It was always a lot of fun for the gd to try to find the butterfly.

All of the packages are winging their way across the country!
