I got quite a bit done today in between laundry, making almond milk, wrangling dogs and keeping a eye on my DH while he does oil changes on the cars. We've had some *situations* in the past where he needed help so I keep an eye on him when he's under the cars.
Here are the fabrics I started with

I made a couple strips sets and then cut them so that I could see how the blocks came out. Here are the blocks I got done

And here are the strips sets I got done

I have some more strips sets to do and then make the blocks. I may have this top done by the end of the weekend!

I forgot to add that I had a chance to use my Matilda's Rotating Cutting Mat. It's great. It makes squaring up blocks really easy. I also got to use my wool pressing mat I bought at Quilt Festival and I really like it. My strip sets and blocks came out so flat. I did use a spray mist with it and it does smell a bit like wet dog, but not too bad.

Neighbors downstairs were making such a racket putting in a new bathroom that I could hardly think let alone enjoy sewing. Somehow I managed to put together a few rows. I hope tomorrow isn't more of same. I work Monday.

A little late to the party, but I'm finally here. Been a busy weekend and I'm feeling a bit under-the-weather, so I'm hoping that some sewing will be the medicine that I need. I'm working on finishing my winter cathedral window cushion cover this evening. I need to stitch down the edges on the pink border blocks and then attach the backing. I desperately wanted to put a pom pom trim on this cushion, but I couldn't find the right pink. I tried blue, which looks a bit flat, and the white doesn't quite look right either, so in the spirit of just getting it finished I will stitch it up without a trim.

Oh- I love all the pictures! Makes me want to start something new and exciting!
I got the BH clue finished, then works on a UFO scrap quilt that's been in the works all summer.
I'm going to head out to the LA and play around with FMQ. I'll post pictures of my progress later.

Had hoped to make the binding for the UFO quilt today, but got bogged down in Christmas prep. It somehow didn't compute until this am that tomorrow is Christmas Eve ... may get some time later today or tomorrow to make the binding, otherwise it'll wait til after Christmas.
Love seeing everything y'all are working on.
