Here is my fabric. I am not going for butterflies - I purchased it because I love the colors. I will be sending a piece of my sashing along to give you an idea. I would love the darker blues and purples and not the red.

Default Sign ups close tomorrow night

Reminder...signups close tomorrow night. I’ll post the names in a couple of days.

Anyone wishing to to post pictures of their fabrics, please do. I’ll grab them and add them to the gallery for boom 24.

Even though we’ll probably have a few less than a full group, (there are 16 definite and two possibles) everyone send me 19 F8s individually packaged with your clearly visible board name on them so I know who they belong to. You will each receive 19 F8s, but not one of your own. You will likely receive duplicates of a couple of F8s but I do ask that if you receive duplicates, you use different stash fabrics if possible to complete each block.

Ok, I've decided on my fabric. I'm going with the vintage tomato labels for a fun quilt for someone in the hospital. I didn't have quite enough to cut 19 pieces, so I am sending 5 pieces of the blue surfer fabric from our last Boom swap. I didn't have enough of those for a quilt yet, so this will be perfect.

For coordinating fabrics, I will send a note with my preferences, but I am going to ask for either the red, gold, light blue or cream for the tomato fabric... no white or black. You can use solids, tonals, or tiny prints that read as one color. This will be for a patient recovering from organ transplant surgery in the hospital.

For the surfer fabric, the quilt will go to a teenage boy. Please use the darker blues, the tan color in the leaf, or the light green color (not yellow!). These are some of my favorite blocks in this fabric that I got last time:

Janice, good to know. I will need to go back through my stash and try and find some more pieces that are the right size. So, don't add my scrap picture to the Book thread yet. I will update with what I find. Thanks.

    Sewbizgirl, love the tomato soup!

TravelingGram, butterflies have wonderful vibrant colors. Blues and purples will really pop.

Ok... I'm in. I checked my fabric and I have enough for the swap. I sent me info to Janice! I will have to work on getting all my little baggies together tonight to send out.

Thanks ladies! I am so looking forward to this!!
