Philarena - Prayers and Blessings to ou stepson and family and to you and DH. Please post a pic. of his new quilt. So kind of you to do this for him. I agree, that's the least one can do for someone who is defending our freedom. He must really want that quilt to ask you to make him one. Not many men want to ask for quilts. At least he will feel like he has part of home with him when he uses it. Best wishes and good health to you so you get it finished.

I really like the patter. Will try to do one tomorrow, just not sure how to post pictures. If I don't get it done tomorrow, will have to bow out of this challenge as too many things going on.

Too busy right now, but would love to see all the blocks that are being made.

Love to see all the different results. On our way back to Florida for a month but may try one when we get there. Thanks for the challenge

Here is mine. I stayed up until 4 a.m. to do it. It was fun. With more color choices, I think I will make a quilt using this pattern. I didn't think I could do it. Thanks for challenging me. I'm so glad I tried.

I should have used a different value for the background, but hey, it's my first star too. :-)

That block looks nice! Now if you made a second one, and sort of switched the colors around, it would give it a different look! - Good job!
