I thought I was the odd one. The group I was in was really pushing them. I think that I am not patient enough to tear off all the paper.
I have learned to do the half traingle square. I may be calling it by the wrong name. It seams to work better for the child in me.

I swear by Thangles whenever I do HST's. If you have trouble tearing the paper off, you are using too long a stitch--the perferating works better if they are close together.

These THANGLES sound great, and I just ordered a WONDER ruler for makeing the HS. Have not recieved it yet. Has anyone used that ruler? Wondering which is easiest.

I also have the triagulations CD. Works great for me. I also run it off for friends as we do mystery quilts together and it sure speeds up the process.

My favorite is "Triangles on a Roll". I think they are easier to sew.

Triangulations much much cheaper way to go as you only need to print how many you need for the project.
