You know you are a Quilter when you spend many thousands of dollar redesigning your kitchen and you fit in the largest free standing island cupboard you can fit in because you will never have to get down your kness and bast a quilt again......it can take a queen sized quilt no trouble.

When I wake in the night & can't go back to sleep because
I'm thinking about the quilting/sewing I want to do in the morn.
When I start sewing at 2am because I only have this many blocks to go.

When a nurse knocks on the hospital bathroom door to ask if I'm ok?
Sure, just busy drawing the floor tile layout for a someday quilt.

When I don't remember names of towns we visited, but do remember
how to get to the LQS in that town.

When I try to measure a block from a pic on the computer.

When all on line time is spent on quilt interests.Hopeless am I :-)

When you are taking a vacation and you make a list of all the fabric stores on the way.

When you can't stand the heat, but will sew for hours in a super hot room -sweat rolling down your face.

I knew I was a quilter when I started looking at a nice cotton piece of clothing at a thrift shop--scrubs, men's shirts, etc., and started wondering what kind of quilt I could make from it!!

"For Richer for Poorer" movie was on this morning - and I studied the "fashion show" when they were modeling quilts in their clothing - trying to remember the name of the patterns.

You go to a wedding reception and take pictures of the bathroom because the design in the tiles would make a beautiful quilt!

Isn't that the truth? I have a west facing sewing room! It's the hottest room in the house, but does that drive me out? No way! Just add another fan...as long as one's blowing on me, I'll stay!

I love that, "your car is trained". I'm going to have to tell my car, "see, you're trainable". So far, my car will turn into yard sales places but you'd better turn on the cruise control when we head for home as she wants to go fast back to the "barn".

Yes I see quilt patterns in flooring, how a building is made, in nature. I'm glad we have support group for this condition.

My sister has Appys and they would look so neat out in the pasture with quilted blankies. Love the bathroom floor idea too.
