I have done the sky thing, with colors and clouds, and I thought I was the only one who saved Christmas cards to do quilt! I once saved a paper towel desing to do using the outline stitch! Never got to it, the pattern faded over time. Oh well!

[quote=quiltilicious](this is prompted by seeing a list for graphic designers. I think we can come up with some really funny stuff)

1. When watching a movie, you pay more attention to the quilts in the scene than what the actors are saying.

Referring to 1. above. I was watching the "Bachelorette" and the home visit to Cape Cod showed a "Deck of Cards" quilt on the front porch. I was checking that out more than watching the show.

While in a bathroom, you notice tiles on floor and quiletly say to yourself, think those would be a nice quilt pattern. Or you see someone with a nice shirt/ dress an think the same.

When you are in an airplane, looking out the window, & see many, many quilt patterns. Many wonderful colors & patterns on the ground.
When your grandson refuses to go to town with you when he finds out you are going to a fabric shop.
When the ONLY shopping you like is in a fabric shop.

I spend the first 5 minutes in bed saying prayers. I spend the next hour trying NOT to design a quilt in my head..I mean REALLY trying hard to think of something else. But usually my last conscious thought is something like..."hmmm, maybe I should put the red where the yellow is...no, stop, don't think about quilts...go to sleep!"
