I hear you! We have a beautiful stained glass of St. Cecilia in our choir loft...My sister captured a picture of it at my daughter's wedding last September. I do have it on picture CD and will (some day) enlarge it to do a paper piecing of it. That's my dream, anyway.

I just love those little yorkies! My little black dog is a yorkie/chihuahua mix, plus I have a Yorkie/ShizTzu mix and a ShizTzu. I love little dogs ... they are the sweetest little creatures and your's are both darling.

When I'm more interested in figuring out a guilting pattern from something I see in a museum or another home (the tiles, windows, wallpapers, doors, etc.), than I am in actually being in the place, it's time to BREATHE! Can you imagine, some people are offended that I want to take pics of floors, door panels, etc, rather than looking at the antique furniture (which I do adore) and other relics!??!

I'm a lunch lady & when the kids come through the line if I spy some neat fabric in their outfit or bright color I always tell them that that would make a great quilt or those colors would be just right for a quilt I'm going to make. Some kind of look at me like are you nuts or something or what have you been sniffing!!! I figure I'm a little crazy to begin with so it doesn't matter to me what they think.

You can't wait for PBS to run a particular episode of "Mystery" even though you know who done it, because one scene has a wall that you want to copy in that great new fabric.

When you offer to take your neighbors goodwill box to the Salvation Army so you can root through it for old shirts/ pants that would make nice additions to your stash. I LOVE that my neighbors are low level hoarders of 70's clothes!!!
