I would love help. The owner of my LQS who was my mentor recently closed the shop due to family needs and at the moment I'm floundering. More lack of motivation-I can't seem to find time to sew even though I have time for the computer. I could use a "pusher". I have a lot of projects and ideas. I sew many items to use in an annual Woofle to raise money for basset hound rescue and need to get on it.

I would like to be adopted; then, maybe one day I could be an "adoptor."

I'm not really sure about this adopting stuff. It sounds like being dependent on one individual to hopefully be on their computer when you need help. When I'm looking for help, I generally want it right now. I already thought this board was one big giant buddy system and there are always quilters on here ready to help. I always think it's great to get a variety of help giving me a variety of choices and suggestions for answers to a help question. Options are great. If you have just one person to go to, you generally would only get one suggestion for a way to do something. So am I missing more here than simply getting know someone on a more personal level?

I would like to be adopted. I do quilt and I have friends who can help but I think an online buddy would be great. Libby

I would like to be adopted too! I've been trying to do learn everything from books, and sometimes the books don't really answer the question!
