I have made a couple of these also. I like everything about them except tying ribbon into bows. Must be another way to finish off besides the bowes. Anyone??? Thanks

I have been looking for a gift to make for a friend that travels. A couple of these, different sizes, would be perfect. They travel flat, but fold up to put jewelry in, or loose change, or whatever everything is we tend to throw on the entry tables & nightstands!! Thanks for a great tute! Wonderful idea for Christmas gifts for friends! I'll definitely be making a lot of these.

I made a couple of faux leather, called them 'travel trays' and gave them to my son and hubby, both travel extensively, they lie flat in their suitcases, then when in the hotel rooms, they can throw their change, keys, wallets, etc into them either on the bed and/or on the dresser. Nice 'catch all' trays.

Great idea and I love your tute!!

I found found kitchen towels that coorindated, not the terrycloth type but the linen-like. Used one towel for the tray and rolled the other towels, put them inside the tray. For the little extra touch, sometimes I added some machine embroidery to the towels. Made a nice hostess or house-warming gift! Chris
