I AM SO EXCITED!!!! My DH has said we can go to MQX in Portland this October. I have already made the reservations at the hotel, paid for admission, and looking at one class to take. My DH has approved me getting a new longarm so he is going shopping with me. When he comes shopping with me, I always get something better than what I may have purchased. What a thriller this is. My First really big quilt show. This is going to be so fun. Portland, here I come!!!!!

I already have a 1992 Nolting and it runs great, just want to upgrade a bit to get more quilting room. It has been a great beginner machine and nothing wrong with it except when i do a customer quilt that needs a 15" block done, I have to roll back and forth to do them when doing detail work. Fine for pantos and such, but I really want to start getting into some detail work. I have doing longarm quilting for 7 years now and time to move forward with more extreme work. I have won awards, in fact two on the last show I entered. Will be selling off the old one if get a new one. Anyone interested? $1,500 for it with the 12 foot table.

So, DD saw the squishy little envelope in my hand today and snatched it away before I could even look at it - she knew what it was! She loves her new butterfly - and it looks very happy hanging on the wall with the others :)

Washington isn't too far from home  But, I cant! trying to whittle down the stuff -- moving company quoted me a price of $1.86 lb. At that rate maybe cheaper to box it up and ship it USPS  UHaul here we come
