just checking and you people are gross.

Carrie this is the first time I met Elizabeth. I have spoken to her on the phone many times. She is so cute and they banter back and forth. We are driving Jim nuts. It is such fun.

No brownies for me I am a good girl. Only corned beef and cabbage no irish soda bread or potatoes. I might have a small slice of the irish soda bread with a cup of tea before bed.

Enough with the pig talk I now feel like a BLT or sausage and eggs. It is Friday I can't eat either.......sigh.......

It's 6:30 I have been up for hours, I can't sleep it has been like this for over a week again. I sleep about 3 hours a night. Then I am tired the entire day and still can't sleep even if I try and nap.

Gee, Tru, we should split the difference. I don't go to bed because I hate going alone even though it's been 11 years, but once I get there I can sleep a long time. Last night I turned off the phone and slept 8 1/2 hours. I have a road trip for a wedding tomorrow and I don't want to fall asleep driving.

Those of you so inclined, say a prayer for me. I am bummed. My first born grandson is getting married and my most recently operated on foot is acting up - I am limping. I want a few hours without that so Josh won't worry. It's his day. I haven't driven that far since the surgery, so that's a concern, too. Ah, well, I will be there with rings on my fingers and bells on my toes (not).

My weight? holding steady. The wedding reception is a dessert buffet. That's a scary thought, but not a concern.

Be careful Irishrose. How far do you have to drive?

I pray you are all having a great Friday. Thanks for entertaining me with the pigs and popcorn and voices in your little heads.

My hubby told me that he does not wanna exercise, so I am on my own. Mom mentioned joining WW, so I checked it out online. $30 signup to join? Not me. I'm too cheap. That is money I reserve for quilting. Besides, I know what I need to do, and that involves a 180 turn on my part.

I bought the book "Twist and Turn Bargello Quilts" and am gathering fabric for my first one. I have a penguin print, plus black, orange, and purple fabrics. This will be a Christmas/graduation gift for my sons friend, who is also a girl. Those are her colors; She is scared to death of birds, but not of penguins.

Ok, I'll shut up now.

Not too far, Carrie. About 100 miles one way. I just have so much physical stuff going on that makes it difficult. I'll be okay. Thank you.

Leann, I have that book, too. It was under the Christmas tree with a tag that said from Lily and Moira. I have very talented dogs - they can order from Amazon!

I've had a really good day. I cooked supper, meatloaf, biscuits, squash and peas.

I got the floors clean, the front door washed, and did the dishes.

I was up at 7:00 this morning and didn't take a nap today.

The bad news?? My weight is up about 8 pounds now. Don't know if it's fluid (CHF) or just plain ole fat.

I definitely have puffy ankles tonight, and I have kept my feet elevated.
