Pam: Love it! Just a thought, what about putting a very thin border between the quilt center and the outside border? Maybe just an inch in one of the bright colors from the center. Just a thought.

    Default Pictures finally!

Good morning Ladies! I finally have pictures of my finished tops before quilting. Well, maybe finished...I may add a small yellow border to the baby quilt to frame it better. As you can see I jumped the track, the baby quilt has no sashing & the lap quilt has pinwheels instead of butterflies. Nope, I didn't do it on purpose & didn't even notice it until I had borders on

Emma, to answer your question I have only been on 2 train rides & I have 4 UFOs from Judy. Three are ready to quilt & another one needs extra blocks to finish it. I do plan on traveling with y'all again but next month I have house guest almost the whole month so I'll be boarding that train late.

Beachbound: Both of your quilts are great but that orange and green one really speaks to me. Love it. Love your "design choice".

Dody, they are both great. Love the orange/green/yellow. Those were the colors I had in my wedding in 1979. I still love them.
I'm debating on whether to go work on my quilt or take my DGD to story time. Tough one.

Dody, both of your tops are lovely and I also really like the colors in the first one! Great!

I've been on two train rides now with three quilt tops. Thinking I am going to look to get a long arm quilter for one of them. that's exciting because I've always hand quilted before.

    Same with me dear1953.
Final weekend of Sherwood Forest Faire this weekend then set up for opening of Scarborough Faire during the week and opening day on Saturday of the following week.
Definitely won't be doing any sewing for a couple of weeks!
