Marta we are missing you om Mystery train #12
It is great fun and can be a table runner or any size you need.
Next clue is the 19th and I know you can catch up because the pieces are small, in the first clues.

Well, I've been inspired by the pix of the lovely quilts lately to find my blocks that I had to put aside last spring due to a trip in the middle of the mystery clues. Found them and was sewing along happily this morning when my iron went on the fritz and up and died! So had to quit for the day because how can you assemble blocks without an iron? But the assembly will continue tomorrow when I get a new iron; I;m on a roll now and it's coming along nicely. Will post a pic when I have the type together.

Thanks so much for the encouragement! Found a simple one on sale at Target this am and will do until I "need" a fancier one and can do the research. I'm off to see how the new one presses the assembly seams. I just love to sew and quilt....

So I was able to get three rows assembled today and is looking pretty good so far. I'll continue on today when I get home from an appt. Assembling the top seems a little tedious sometimes in order to get the seams pressed in the right direction to nest. But I'm on a roll and won't give up this time!
