Think I'll name mine Love in Blue. Thought I'd better get that out there before someone else did.

Seeing this palette of fabric makes me want repeat this quilt with a light background. So pretty. Maybe if I get the borders done on the black one I'll jump in the pond again. Then again I might finish my MILs quilt. she started this at the same time as me and abandoned it midway. Her blocks were enlarged to 9".

Love your fabric choices Lara. They look so soft and cuddly.

Just got back from meeting with my surgeon for next week's hip replacement. I can tell my focus is not on the AOTH at this point. Hope y'all will forgive me for not keeping up. Trying to get a few things finished and get things in order here for the big event.

Hopefully, by early April I will be back into the swing of things.

So far, I am toying with the idea of 'Batik Fidelity'.

Linda, a big op, but think of your convalescence - once you start to feel better, you will be able to join the JTG club!

I would like to join the group too. I will be handpiecing mine using the needle-turn method. I will use batiks with a black background. Can hardly wait to start.

    Welcome, Gramquilter2.

I've started washing my batiks. I've only gotten through the yellows, reds and part of the oranges. So far every single fabric has bled, especially the bright yellow one. We'll see how the blues and purples do.
