Great Table and a wonderful hubby. Hoping that when my hubby's garage is done he will have enough time to make me one. Unless your wife wants to be my friend (wink wink)

    You did great!!

I saw a neat idea of a table in a magazine. Take two saw horses (they got theirs at IKEA) and glue felt on the top. Get an old door, hollow is fine and wrap it in felt. Then cover it with a fabric, like if you made curtains you might want to cover with same fabric, and then to make it smooth if desired, have a glass cut to cover the fabric and lay it on top. Also if pillow in chair cover it also. In the picture it looked great. Made my thoughts go ding-ding, - "sewing room!!!".

This is a great idea! Such a talented innovative DH. I just want everyone to know that I am her very best friend! :) I want a table like this very bad.

I have a few question to ask if don't mind 1. How do you hold the machine up after you cut the hole.2 Did use MDF for the legs it look like a table all ready made. 3 Was the MDF finish or rough Thanks for any info you can give. I like the looks and where did you get the plastic tape Thanks again
