How much time for corn on the cob?

About 2 1/2 minutes per shucked ear. I wouldn't do more than 2 ears at a time.

Boy I learn more stuff on ths Forum. Never heard of potato bags before unless you were putting raw potatoes in to store in the kitchen. Doing the corn -- do you wet the corn, or take off the green leaves, etc etc. I usally make one or two ears only, wrap the clean corn in a wet paper towel and microwave for 2 or 3 minutes, It is hot, but good. -- J.

This has probably already been answered to you, but a potato bag is for using in a microwave to cook whole potatoes like a baked potato. They turn out really light and fluffy. I have made tons of these bags.

I figured what the fabric cost her potato bag, the potato fabric, batting and good muslin for inside. If you don't embroidery them basic cost is around 8.00 each, plus your time should be 3 x the material. I know that they sell in some places for $25.00 each, figure your time in for you don't work for free.

I can get 6 bags from one yard of potato fabric, then use 1 yard of cotton batting, and 1 yard of muslin.

One yard cut 12" by WOF, then cut that in half, you will have two tops, as far as charging goes, I charge $12.00 a bag, you are still making money on them. I cut the same in for Tortilla warmers. But sew the top up to with in a inch, so you can get the tortilla in the bag easier. I have made many of them, great gifts.

Note as fabric goes up in price so does you selling price. What we used to get for $10.00 a yard has jumped to 12.95 a yard.
