Needles: This is a swap and she made blocks from fabric sent to her. We make the blocks of fabric she sent to us and send the block back. I can't wait to see what her quilt looks like when she is done. ;)
LOL Moon, I peeeeked. HEE. Love it.
Oh btw, Moon. Love the music one you did with the embroidery. Mine looks like the same dark brown too, which atleast it matches. I didn't have any music fabric that wasn't 'gold gilded' and she doesn't like that kind of fabric.

That's cool ours will match up... It's a little wonky on hers so I sent a couple extra strips of brown in case she wants to straighten it... I was 'fraid of keep ripping it out so I gaves up on it.
Glad you like it... figured if you had square dance fabric you must "love" dancing so I gave you a heart with a wooden floor, lol.

It was called Santa Sleigh Damask...
Took about 1 1/2 hours for the machine to do it...no way would I attempt it by hand anymore...they don't like that torture anymore.
I've got several discs with patterns but really do like Embroidery Library's stuff. They offer discounts and specials all the time so I don't mind getting special items.

This is the first paper pieced project I have ever tried. It was harder than I thought it would be and I learned you really have to continue past the printed lines in some spots but NOT in others, lol. I was amazed it turned out so well.
I'm in the boomerang 5 swap and I wanted to try it out first before I used someone else's fabric. Several of the others are from quilterscache website.
Thanks for the link! There are some pretty great free patterns on that site!
