absolutely..I was making Christmas stockings for the GIs.

Our quilting group makes the stockings,

they are then delivered to another group who will keep them until later in the year and then fill them

and then they will take them to another group who will be sending them off the our men and women in the services of our country.

Gives one a good feeling ........

Yes, indeed I am. I did some serious work cleaning gutters, canning cherries and then to the machine for a bit of relaxing fun. Packed up my quilting gear for a work session at my church on Tuesday. Then off to Lake Michigan for fun with friends and fireworks.

I worked until 2, then in the evening I added all but one border to my "AFRICA QUILT". Have enjoyed working on this.

I covered with fabric the hard piece that goes into the bottom of a tote bag. I also trimmed up a few blocks. Went to a cookout in the afternoon. Getting too hot upstairs so will put the air conditioners in today. I quilt upstairs in a southern exposed room.

No sewing today for me, but I did get to go to a little neighboring town to a quilt show. Saw lots of pretty quilts.

I didn't do any sewing or quilting yesterday. I visit an elderly friend yesterday, who is 94 y/o and has baby alzheimer's; had a good time.
