    yes, Yes, YES!! TWICE. I even bought a used machine after I couldn't find anyone to work on my "broken" Singer. On the plus side I now have a lovely 1920's Singer in a beautiful cabinet that is just the best for piecing. It is small and attractive and can stay in my living room--perfect for evening work. Win some, lose some.

    lol! reminds me of when I was working tech support for Gateway. Person got "works out of the box" pc. Couldn't figure out why mouse didn't work. After formatting the computer I asked if she had plugged it in!
