I'm working on one also but I don't think I'll ever get done. I call it my waiting room quilt. I seem to only work on it while I'm waiting for something or some one. It makes a nice take along project. Your quilt is beautiful. Thanks for sharing.

Cathaderal Window is not hard at all just very slow going, being is it all done by hand. Actually I think piecing is harder, seam matching, point matching, and all that, and then you have to actually quilt the top you make. It is easier to match these squares by hand than by machine. And once a square is done - it is done, nothing else to do but enjoy the quilt. Just my way of thinking.

Wow. You really went all out on your first quilt. Good job, and be sure to show us when you finish. I would never try one of these and here you do it first thing out of the gate. Go girl!!

I LOVE it. Catherdral window by hand was the first quilt I did 50 yrs ago. My middle daughter has it now. Lots of memories in the patches; I used the girls' dress fabrics, my aprons, maternity tops, housedresses (when did you last hear THAT word? Congratulations on your project
