Is this as ugly as I think it is?

I think it's wonderful! That being said, regardless of what others say, you may still not like it. We all have such wonderful differing opinions...that's the beauty of variety! So, if after a couple of days you're still not "loving" it then give it to someone who needs some love. I certainly do thing it's "gift worthy", but if you're not sure can you give it to some organization that will make sure it goes to someone that needs an outward, tangible expression of love? BTW, your workmanship on the quilt is great...it really is well done!

I think this quilt is beautiful, and very well made, from the fabric choices, piecing, and quilting. You don't know me, but I can honestly say that I would not tell you I liked it if that were not true. It is a very pretty quilt and would be a lovely gift.

I once had a collection of yellow and blue blocks that I had put together and then hated, so I donated them to our local guild. Then I watched as one of our members put the blocks together and realized they were really very pretty. Sometimes you just have to step away for a while.

It’s so pretty! Your quilting is beautiful. I wouldn’t hesitate to give it as a gift if I was the maker. I think sometimes when we have been looking at a quilt for a long time it doesn’t look right to us. The receiver of this quilt will be very happy with it!
