I worked on it last night. I was embroidering the yardage lines on it. There was a knot in my Aurifil thread coming off the spool that messed up my tension and almost broke the needle! I had to un-sew an area and re-thread the machine. I have never had a knot in Aurifil thread before but there it was - two ends tied together.

Think of all the things you can do when you get it finished. Write down all the things you want to do and keep looking at it as you are working on that quilt.

Woohoo! I worked on it and I have got the absolute worst part of it behind me! I got all the yard lines finished and I got the yardage numbers machine embroidered on it. Now I have to do the basketball court. It as all freehand satin stitching following a line on the fabric so I should have it done fairly quickly. The tie up is going to be getting the lines for the court to scale. Once the court end is done and the 2 pieces sewn together, it is smooooooth sailing!

Thanks for all the suggestions for getting me over the hump! You ladies and gentlemen are the best!
