    that looks beautiful! i'm slowly collecting ties--my husband rarely wears one, and my sons never do! but i too will be making a tie quilt and it's great to have inspiration! thank you! and welcome from philadelphia!

    Good question! I would like to know also. My late husband had a few ties, but none so beautiful as these. I wonder if you could make the ties.

    Garage and estate sales are a good source of men's ties. At one, I found a big box full and they asked 10 cents each...at another one I found a big box for $5.00. Of course, this takes time and effort...but....if you enjoy this type of thing, it can be fun.
