Beautiful quilt! I can see why you don't want it to leave!

That's beautiful! I certainly understand your attachment to this beauty!! I've done a couple of QFKs quilts that I've told them not to let me near them once I took them to the meeting or they might go back home with me. It's a good feeling to give something so beautiful but it hurts a little too!!

I would hate to see that go also. It's really beautiful. So calming and serene. The colors are wonderful together

What a serene, comforting, pleasing quilt, the colors are excellent together, love the pattern and your quilting. It would have been hard to part with it.

Just try to think about how much happiness it will bring to the couple who will receive it. That should help. Thanks for sharing.

I have quite a pile of quilts that need to find homes - my daughter has spirited away quite a few quilts for when she moves into her own place. She realizes how many hours go into them and loves each and every one of them. She will be the family historian! My son has the one I made him years ago and it has been loved to death! I wish we could pick a pattern and fabric to make more for him ... I feel bad that he doesn't have more than that one. It is definitely time to go through the stack and do some serious gift giving!
