    I like it just the way it is. I really like the boarders where they are. It frames it.

    I think you see the 'error', but no one else will. I think we all second guess ourselves after we've done something, and stop looking at the whole thing. The quilt is beautiful. I think they will enjoy it. As far as the sides, yes I understand how you might want white to separate the blues. But I think the blues in the border might be a bit more modern,--at least that's my story!

    You could always make pillow shams to match if you don't quite like the top edge. It does look beautiful the way it is.
