I received the most lovely runner from LJDugas on Tuesday. I've been under the weather, so although I thanked her, I haven't gotten a picture made to post. I will remedy that this afternoon and post a pic here. Thanks again, LJDugas!

I've finished piecing the top of the one I made for her and will sandwich and quilt it today and tomorrow with a planned mailing date of Monday. I feel like such a laggard, but the combination of a cold/ cough on top of seasonal allergies has knocked me down.

Really beautiful! Love the Dresden plate! LJ, how did you quill your plates? I am ready to quilt and cannot decide. I will free-motion quilt the runner and thinking about straight stitching each blade. Did you hand stitch the plates? Beautiful work!

I am thinking I will free-motion quilt everything using my BSR - outlining the blades, circle swirls in the centers and shadow quilting the background.......just need to "keep my eyes on the road" Here we go!
