Wonderful story, thanks for sharing, sniff, sniff...I agree with all the above...you have been a wonderful blessing to this young man. Probably part of God's perfect plan for all of us.

What a lovely story. You've earned your own star in Heaven by your act of love and kindness to your friend. Bless you both!

What a great story and you can't but think that it was all in the hands of God that this quilt that had come full circle and reunited old friends. I'm sure he will always cherish the quilt, all the memories that it brings him as well as what you did to finish the quilt started by his mother so many years ago. I would call it Kismet, fate, and any number of things that made this happen and that you were a part of it. Sometimes we never know how our quilts will affect the lives of those that receive them.

OMG, I read your letter and sat here and cried like a baby.
I just wanted to say what you did was one of the most thoughtful gestures
that a person could do. It just goes to show you that, there are some good
people left in this world. I am not really a big fan of KARMA, but this time I am.
    Thank you for sharing.

What a beautiful story! You are a wonderful person to give so much first to a stranger and then to keep giving! Your work is beautiful!! have no doubt that his mom is smiling down on you and her son.
