I am working on an applique border for my 2nd GFG, and doing hex's for the 3rd. "Collecting fab. for a 4th. Guess I'm addicted :?:

according to the magazine I have, there are 10,339 hexagons

each hexagon measures half an inch on one side!!

Thank you for posting the flicker site. There are some stunning quilts on that site!!! Did you see the mini that was made with 1/4 in. per side hexy? 5500 hex's! Amazing! The one that comes up when I click your flicker site is also amazing. I have made a few 1/2 in. hex's for use in a border. But a whole quilt! I think I'll pass, and just droll on all the photos that others have done!
