Looks really really well managed perhaps even orchestrated! I don't seem to get how to do it, then for some of you it seems do easy and natural. You don't even realize what a gift it is!

If my sewing room were ever that organized ( like both of those with pics) I would never find anything. A quilter I am, but Suzzie homemaker I will never be. And I like it this way

Well I think it looks great and better in the "after" pic!
Why? Because you have more room to add to th stash!!!!
Lucky you, I have no room for my stash so it's in boxes all over the place!! :)
    Enjoy the new look

I am not very proud of my quilting organization, but my DD and I also scrapbook and if I could get the quilting side to look like the scappin side I would be thrilled. Everything is rainbow color coded and looks so nice. Looks like I will just have to bite the bullet and get to work on the fabric side. Oh yeah also the painting, crochet, knitting, embroidery, and the general crafts! Thanks for the great pictures.

When my stash started flowing out of my closet, I decided it was time to organize, too! I tried sorting by color, but it made me nuts because of all the different shades. I do a lot of reproduction quilting. So, I divided up the last two centuries into 20 year blocks and went from there! It sure made things a lot easier. I do love the look you have going!

You have a beautiful stash. I did mine that way also so I could easily see what fabric I have. I had bought a bookshelf from Walmart that works great for the fabric.

Oh my.. please, can I borrow you?? You should see my sewing area, it needs lots and lots of help.. LOTS. I have done a bunch of projects, quick fixes, had some fabric stacks blow up or something, because everything is all over the place and growing! I've promised myself that tomorrow I'm going down there and shoot whatever moves. Perhaps sometime before I die my sewing area will look as beautiful as yours.. It does look beautiful, now it's time to get it all out and start a new project!

Every time I see an organized sewing room I get more depressed, my room is total chaos. I have decided they must not have time to quilt if it is that organized or then again they may have more time to quilt because they don't have to search for everything. One day I will organize, but first I have to stop buying more fabric.!
