That's a gorgeous quilt!! My mom learned to quilt 2 years ago, and she will turn 86 in September.

What a beautiful quilt and memory for her niece. Hopefully, there is a box in you Mom's closet for you one day! I have one of my Mom's last quilts and at age 90, her embroidery work and piecing was not as it had been years earlier, but to me it is a shining star quilt. Mom passed at age 91.

Your Mom is as beautiful as the quilt. Lucky you she's your Mom.

So you inherited your talent from your mother?! Well done to her- I am glad to see that some quilters at least can keep creating beautiful work at 87- I am sort of assuming my eyesight/aches and pains/mental attitude might be obstacles if I am even lucky enough to make it to 87. Good luck to your Mom with the move. Your cousin will treasure that I am sure.
