What a great quilt! Very colorful. I am with you on being a 'dead duck' if coping a quilt from a picture will get me in trouble!

Thank you, Kathy, such a cheery quilt. I love it.

In your photo the borders look "fuzzy" -- did you use chenille or some type of terrycoth for them? Whatever it is, it gives dimension to the daisies and adds so much to your design.

The border is the same fabric as the white blocks. I quilted a looser design in the border and did simple meandering in the blocks. I used white signature thread in the border and monofilament thread in the blocks. I didn't want to change thread for every color so I just used the mono on all of it, except the border. The quilting is denser everywhere except the borders.

I will email you a picture of the back. I found the neatest fabric at Walmart that has little daisies all over, perfect for this quilt.

KathyAire-what is signature thread? Something for a quilting machine?

    Signature is a brand name.

This quilt is so bright and cheery! I did a positive/negative snowflake quilt this year and it was a lot of fun. I have been looking for another one to make. Do you mind if I make one too?
