Thank you Penny,
Hopefully everything will go OK if we can just get our Banker on board. Seems he forgot to let us know that our pre-approval note expired....
Figures he works for a bank (Any bankers present are excluded from this rant) I guess it is our job to do his job for him. Hubby is contacting him this morning, again... Oh did I mention that he doesn't answer emails either..LOL
So keep your fingers crossed, I know I am.
I think if I focus on quilting or some other activity, perhaps I won't go nuts waiting.
Thank you for the moral support, I'll take all I can get...
Have a great day!
Faith :XD:

You are fortunate to spot such a gem, and especially when it was so unexpected!

Ya know, when I was young my mom had a Singer treadle in a gorgeous cabinet that her mom used. I can remember being 14 -15 years old and mom ripping the machine out of the cabinet and then using the cabinet to just display things. What I wouldn't do for that machine a cabinet here 40 years later.

Ok, I am going to come clean. Just a year ago I was at an Antique store next to my gift shop. I bought an old treadle machine for 90.00. beautiful working on the cabinet. Here is the kicker (needed to be on my behind)I had them to take the cabinet off (They kept the machine and the stand) and I still paid 90.00 just for the cabinet. Made me a coffee table out of it. I know! I know! STUPID STUPID STUPID!!!!!

Yes, I love the coffee table . Painted it antique yellow. But now I would love to have had the machine. Don't even know what model it was , but for 90.00 I guess it was probably and old one. Geez!
