Great job!!!
It's not really the same quilt, is it? Didn't she have to take the squares back apart and and recut, etc, adding a lot of black, etc.? That doesn't seem like the same quilt--just some of the the same fabric.

It seems like an incredible amount of work. It seems almost faster to just start over with other fabric.

Beautiful makeover! Shows how our work can improve with practice of making more quilts. Your Mom is going to be blown away!!

I guess since my mom loved the fabric just not the style quilt it would have taken the same amount of time with new fabric however I guess that this is what a lovening daughter does for her mom which gave birth to her and is a breast cancer survivor seems just a little thing to do for What she has done for me.

Great make-over. The transformation is awesome! I hope your mom beats the cancer so she can tell the story of this quilt.
