It's only an hour and a half from Batesville where Marshall's Dry Goods is located which is about an hour and half from me. I will certainly go the extra distance to visit Thayer my next trip to Marshalls. A three hour drive is nothing for me, leave early in the morning and be home by dinnertime. Thanks for posting about the shop.

I was doing a search and I can't find the store listed as a fabric shop in Thayer. Since this thread is a few years old I was wondering if the shop was still is business. Just checking.

If you live in Ark and was planning to go to Batesville to fabric shop, you could drive on up to Thayer and make a nice day or two day trip out of it. I would love to do that. I'm book marking your post so I can keep the info. Thanks for posting.

Oh my.... I've been in that shop when visiting relatives. Well, maybe it's the old shop that was in Thayer. I'll be sure to go back when I'm close.

I am in Mountain View MO, which is about 55 miles north of Thayer. I am planning a trip to Thayer in the next couple of weeks. We haven't lived here but 3 years & I would like to find some quilters in my area so we could start a quilting/sewing group & get together to quilt.
Any of you quilters in MO interested in doing this? Please PM me if you are.
