I like the new picture, Emma--such a beautiful smile!

Lynnie--hope you feel better very soon! (By the way, my autocorrect believes your name is Lonnie!)

sdeaaz - I'm sorry you aren't happy, but I don't think I had you do the purple print with the light purple. A and B were to go together in the outsides of the flying geese. is it too late for you to change the outer stuff or are you all done with them? I know you were having problems with deciding on fabrics. If you changed your color order and I missed it I apologize.

quiltingnd - can you make 4-1/2 four-patch centers? or even a solid 4-1/2'' '' if not comfortable with that. .I promise if I ever use an odd-ball ruler in a future mystery, will mention it in the first page.

Angelia, this scrappy is simply stunning. Gals who are scrappy-shy should take a lesson from you! Me, my favorite is scrappy, and I'm already planning the next mystery, trying to do scrappy.

Comments welcome from the peanut gallery -- anyone interested in another scrappy mystery?

Caroline and quilt addiction - lovely blocks. Dear 1953, I think you will be fine.

sunlite -- Betsy invented the WOF, but she used to say ''Woof, that fabric I picked for my dress is ugly!''

klaws - how long have you been doing the pincushion swap? I don't remember who took it over when I bowed out from hosting. And don't you worry about Lynnie, if she hasn't changed from when I was doing this, she has had this Halloween cushion done for months!!!

Dotty - OMG is all I can say when I saw Lynnie's hex blocks.

And Lynnie, your're home already? Wow!

I was able to get my 2 1/2" hst done. I just cut a few extra 3" squares. (Read 12 of both colors.) Woops. *blush* Tomorrow I will aim for trying the flying geese.

I think a scrappy mystery train would be cool!

Judy, does this layout look good?

Judy, YES, YES, YES to another scrappy mystery!! I loved the last one and made 2 of them.

Lynnie, take care of yourself. Take your pains meds and get lots of sleep.

sdeaaz, if you already have your blocks done and can't redo them, maybe your quilter can do something special to highlight the stars.

I am loving all the star blocks - especially the scrappy!

Judy, Lauriejo took over the pc swap after you bowed out. She had it for a couple months and then we never heard from her again. I tried calling her a couple times but she never returned my phone calls. Pat (nhnative) even went to her house to talk to her but all she said was that she was having health problems. That was the last we heard and that was in June. She never even let us know that she was dropping out. She left us hanging and didn't know what to do. We didn't have an actual host in July, we kind of just picked it up and ran with it. August was the first month I took over. I'm enjoying being the host.

By the way, I am loving all the blocks that I've seen so far. I can't wait to get started on mine.

Anoka, love your A fabric. That is beautiful!

I will be part of the peanut gallery and answer the question posed. Judy, I would love to do a scrappy mystery if I can come up with enough fabric. I have been sorting and organizing my house the last couple of weeks. What a horrible job that is!!!! I have found fat quarters and small cuts of yardage I didn't even know I had. A scrappy quilt is just what I need, then I will be forced to use the fabrics I really do not care for.
