OK, when I get behind, I really get behind in blocks....like the 50 stars quilt started by Carrie...still have not started up but I have all the patterns and fabric to start up someday. Someday.

Back working on wild geese flying, and will have sub for two different fabrics I am running out of, but that is doable in this pattern. Sigh. I used the fabric in other places and now wishing that I had saved it, but did not know then that I should have saved it. What will be will be. Onward.

Have a good day everyone.

That's how scrappys get born, QNS! I'm sure your quilt will be lovely.

Our weather has warmed back up to 60 today... and supposed to still climb a little higher. All signs of snow and ice are gone, as it got up to 50 yesterday. I'm so glad not to have the air 'bite' me when I step outside! That may be all the winter we get, down here.

I'm going to try and get something quilted today. The tops are starting to pile up!
Have a great day....

Hi Everyone, Worked all day yesterday at the Viking Gallery and will be working tomorrow & Sunday as well..They are taking advantage of my time here in NJ..I'll be leaving next week for warmer, I hope, in NC for several weeks..

I did some sewing at work yesterday, put together a bunch of 3" blocks, some for the 365 quilt, who knows how far I'll go with that and some for a project I started awhile ago..easy sewing , that's what I like.

My thumb and middle finger have cracks in the fingertips and it hurts like hell...I can't remember the name of the ointment I have on them but it is yellow and it smells like carbolic something or other they use on cow's udders..it's supposed to help...the cold weather makes my nails crack also..Oh to get where it's warm!!!

Have a good day all. H.

Ouch! Those cracked fingertips are the worst thing about winter weather. I put Carmex on mine... sometimes I put it on at night and wear gloves to bed, or cover well with band aids.

Here are a few blocks I've started quilting, from my swap with Givio... We each make two of the same block of the month, and then keep one and swap one. So at the end we will have 24. I'm doing mine QAYG.

Honchey, Try putting this cream on your hands before you go to bed at night. In the morning, you will be amazed how much better your skin will feel. It helps dry, cracked skin in a wonderful way.

SBG, again!! Deleted more private messages for you. :-p Your quilting makes me envious.

My quilting is only walking foot quilting. Mostly straight line, SITD, and some curved lines with the walking foot. If you loosen up your presser foot pressure it's easier to turn the blocks for those curves. They are so easy to do. These blocks really lend themselves to those little curved outlines. Try it!
