Fruit pies galore! First of all, our property is only 100x40 feet and on that is a house, a double garage and a driveway.
I already have two fig trees, a grape arbor and ... well, too much in the way of fruit and veggie planting. We were looking at two column apple trees, a cherry tree, a plum tree and a peach tree. I don't know. Think I'll take the dogs to the park and think about it.

K - your right my orange stash IS building up nicely, and I have
been playing with designs in my EQ7 to come up with a pattern
    that I want to make.

So far I have ideas for a super "eye hurting" red, yellow & orange
quilt with SMALL touches of blue, green, purple, black and white
thrown in (very small amounts just enough to add other colors).
So far though I am not sure that I like the design, may chuck it
    and start over.

5 fruit trees? yeah what were you thinking. But of course I am
not a "gardening" type of person. Even when I owned my house
in NC I didn't have a garden. I did TRY my hand at flower beds
spent $300 on flowers and killed them within a month. Heck I
can kill cacti and I don't even over water them. Only thing I ever
did remotely good with was house plants. I had an tons of them
and the vines went all through my great-room and kitchen.

What I NEED to do is get my "little things" quilt finished, and my
"when pigs fly" wall hanging finished.

With all the oranges that I have been getting from the SP swaps
it is STILL the least amount in my stash, even my LEAST favorite
color (brown) has more to the stash than orange.

Love ALL the packages coming in, such awesome pretties both
    store bought and handmade.

I just realized I haven't seen who the lucky recipient of those
potholders that hav made is. Have they received and posted yet
and I just missed the post or are they still in "transit"? hmmm
    who got them I wonder.

I have one of those telescoping backscratchers and I LOVE it,
had it for about a year hubs thought I was crazy for buying it
now he will ask me for it when he needs to scratch an itch. All
he does with his wooden one now is play with the cats with it.

Keep posting those pictures everyone I LOVE see all the goodies.

HAPPY FRIDAY everyone. No work for me today which is both
bad and good. Bad because I need the money good because I
don't feel to well today my neck is aching like crazy which in
turn is causing my ugly headaches (again or as usual).

More great packages! Lots pf pretty fabrics.

QuiltyLouise, orange is a favorite color for me..lots of it here. Last year, I made a lone star only in orange. The year before, a hunter star type quilt with orange, green, blue and yellow..love these colors together. Can't wait to see what you come up with.

    K, I voted for 5. Good luck.

Mary, you got me craving licorice..looks super yummy to me...my wonderful husband is in the anti-licorice camp..yup..a mixed marriage here

Mailed a SP package out yesterday. Got on here to post, but by the time I read all the posts, I forgot to do it. LOL Anyway, wasn't gonna let that happen again. I see she posts here some, so I am hoping she posts a picture. My last couple of SP's don't do the pictures. That is fine, they sent me my Thank You's and the packages were WONDERFUL!! This is a lot of fun, I love to see all the great packages.
Also, I have wanted to say that I so enjoy seeing the "other Onalee" posting here. For the first time in my life, I added the "ROSE" to my name to help distinguish me from her. My entire life I answer the phone "Onalee", sign Onalee and all that. Everyone just knew who it was. Then one day I read the post someone said, "you will love your package from Onalee, she always has nice pkgs". I thought, I haven't even sent any packages on this swap yet, how do they know? Then I realized it was the other Onalee. Totally blew me away. 56 (or so) years and the first time!!!! Don't get me wrong, I know there are lots of us out there, I just have never talked and felt like I was friends with one!!! Wow, just made myself sound like I was talking about a breed of dog, or an alien. LOL! No offense, Onalee!!!!! HeHe!!

louise you won't believe this but i forgot to stuff them in the box to my secret pal and now have to send them under separate cover. i don't know how that happened. i usually keep stuffing a box until there is no more room and i had pulled them out but forgot to lay them in a bag i had for each pal. i even forgot to take a pic of that package also.

i think i just had too much on my mind this time around. oh well.

I know that we have ALL had bad experiences with the post office and employess there. I send alot of stuff and maybe it helps that I live in a small town (28,000) but when I took my "packages " to the post office to mail they where in plastic grocery bags. I asked the guy who usually helps me to help me find the right fit. He not only did that but packed it all in as well, saved me money by using a flat rate envelope. I had tried to do that but couldn't get in all in, but he did!! So there are really nice postal workers out there!

Well since there is talk of licorice I will admit that I LOVE good n plenty
candies, but most licorice I don't like.

I am not a fan of anything strawberry (when I was a kid yes, but not now)
but my favorite "fruit" candy flavors in order are:

    cherry
    grape
    lime
    lemon
orange (love it, though it doesn't like me I get heartburn real bad).

Might try to find some of that sugar free that you are talking about to
see if I might like it.

yep he was a sweetheart. my neighborhood p.o. is a disaster so i go to the one the next community over (very close) and they are one block over from a major business district and this p.o. is always busy. i can just see the clerks now looking at me like i was from mars if i brought my packages in that way asking for help. they already have raised eyebrows at my multi-taped flat rate packages. i think they would ban me from the p.o.

there are advantages of living in a small community.

well 2 of my packages are out for delivery, the other one no info available. oh well i know it is on its way. i am still waiting for my last sp package to arrive, but i wait patiently.
