Cranberrycabin is so going to have a treasure. That is beautiful! That is a wonderful work of art. I love that setting. I am going to have to remember that for sashing and corner stones. Such a nice way to put your blocks on point.

So glad I can look at these wonderful quilts while I work on mine. Gives me more ideas. Trying to finish up projects for the month and glad I can take a break to look at these works of art. Well, back to the daily grind and then the wonderful longarm. Happy quilting everyone and opening packages that come in the mail.

There are only a few pairs still working away. Most have communicated with me that circumstances are causing delays but the partners are in touch with and in agreement with each other. We have more MIAs than I like but most are MIA pairs. When there's an orphan, I've found a replacement in all but one or two cases.

I live in the area of Maryland hit by the freak storm that took out electricity for hundreds of thousands including us. So I'm not running at full speed. When power returns I plan on sending you all a mini survey to assess how this all went and what you'd recommend for making it better. But pepco says it could be a week!

    Default My Quilt Arrived

I received my quilt from Foxflower on Friday while at work. I absolutely love it! I love 30's fabrics and Foxflower included an appliqued tuxedo cat in memory of my kitty, Oreo, who I lost a couple years ago. The quilt is so special that I fell asleep under it on Friday night.

Foxflower's quilt should be delivered to her tomorrow and I hope she loves her snuggle quilt as much as I love mine.

JenGaile, what a gorgeous quilt FoxFlower made especially for you. Love the pattern and 30s fabrics - oh yes the kitty is so cute too.
