Ring the bell for VickiM......another quilting FO for her.
You are on a roll, Vicki. Keep it moving!
I like the top and bottom borders. Sometimes just square blocks add
real punch and I think that is the case with your quilt....nice job..

    Hi all.
Last night I put the last stitch into my latest quilt.
Looks great. Still having camera problems so no pics.
On to the next UFO. Need to quilt 3 more tops...thought I had only 2 left to do....... then I can start something new.
I just NEED to get these tops quilted to ease my mind.
There will still be a few smaller projects as UFOs but I can work on those anytime and finish them within an afternoon.

Hope everyone is making good progress.

LOL at me! I'm even slow joining this! I have about umpteen UFOs--the worst being a Dresden plate quilt that my grandmother started about 40 years ago. She had it about 15 years, my mother had it about 15 and I've had it for probably 10. If I can get that monstrosity finished in 6 months, I'll be thrilled. It will now cover a Buick sized bed! I am thinking about cutting it up and making lap throws from it. I'm not sure how or why it got to be so big! We'll see how this one comes out!

It's precious. I love the vintage feel of the fabrics. Great job!

Default March UFO, finished in April but still finished!

Pattern: Star Flower Wreath by Chickadee Charms Design Company

Started in 1997ish...according to the printed selvage! Why do we do this to ourselves? Start a project, leave it until the fabric is way out of print and try to finish it with no fabric options that work with what you already have? Why quilters I ask? Why?

Answer: I love my hobby, I enjoy a challenge!

It would have helped if I had bought the pattern but noooo, I drafted it myself. Will I ever learn?!?

    Answer: Probably not.

    Off to the LAQ 04-12-12!

It's beautiful Fraew - I think we like the 'process' of learning new and different things, and sometimes that is more important than the product, however the unfinished products can get a little heavy...
