Gees Louise went to doctor yesterday for follow up appointment and absolutely exhausted today.

Major storm expected this afternoon, good day for a long winter’s nap

Don't push yourself, Terri. Take it slow and easy. It will take some time to start feeling like your old self again. Nothing wrong with a good long nap.

Recovery is a process! Napping during a storm is so comforting for me. Enjoy!

I have been so busy and have missed so much on the board. Best recovery to Terri and any one suffering from cold and flu.

Missy is doing much better after her diagnosis with pancreatitis and possible IBS. With the appetite stimulant, antinausia, pain meds and B complex shots she is doing much better. I also switched her to duck and pea protein food and that seems to have helped also.

Now for me, I had a suspicious mammogram results so it was repeated as a diagnostic, that still showed some calcification. So had a needle biopsy yesterday and will get the results on Wednesday. The anxiety is worse than the biopsy was. Interesting what technology they have now. And whoever knew your breast moves so much! Thank goodness Tylenol deals with most of the soreness.

Thank everyone for making my brassier quilt to be so fun!

Today I did my first block. Mariposa your fabric is so beautiful. I hope you like it.

Lisa, that design looks gorgeous in Mariposa's swirly fabric!

Hoping for a great report on the needle biopsy. In the meantime, QUILT. It really does absorb your thoughts and relieve your stress.

I made something crazy today... I raided my scrap drawers and took these charm squares and finally did something with them! A Giant Granny Square... I think I still prefer the little grannys, this was just an experiment and something to do with my charm stash.

Wow! I really like it! Is it going to be a medallion quilt? Are you going to add borders and go bigger?

Kassaundra

I am so mad at myself. When I made your block I had actually started on a second one but just short of half way in I threw in the towel and gave up...I was struggling way to hard. Well this morning I was straightening up my sewing room I came across it and the answer hit me upside the head on how to fix my mistakes. So I set about picking stitches and resetting pieces. More hours later than I care to admit to I'm finished. It's not what I started with as I made a few to many errors with the focus fabric. However I'm pretty pleased with what I ended up with. I also learned I will never ever ever ever use this wow bubble fabric again, front and back is just close enough to screw up on. Yet it's different enough it's glairing that one piece in the middle is wrong....Agghhhhh it helped make for a long day hahahahaha anyway I'll be throwing this one in the mail this week I hope you can use it. Also after taking the picture I saw where I could have added more color. Maybe I'll try it again someday you know when I feel like making myself crazy again.
