I collect old beads and buttons, and older quilt magazines. I also collect ACEO art cards, old vintage greeting cards and old marbles.

Same here. Books were the biggie, even before fabric. Plus magazines, internet video and magazine subscriptions, and I filled my hard drive with free patterns and photos of quilts.

Most of the magazines got binned in my last purge, most the books are going to be on a garage sale table as soon as I have time for another dedicated purge.

But I also collected sewing machines, thread, notions, rulers and templates, and I have never used 90% of them.

Quilt patterns for me! I have ones saved in magazines, ones bought at quilt stores or quilt shows and on my computer I have a File Folder filled with patterns I have downloaded for ...one day!
