Jelly Roll 1600 Quilt

I saw this on my LSQ's facebook page. I only used a jelly roll that had 24 pieces - wanted to see how well it worked first.
Of course I missed the step that said to miter the ends and I sewed them straight and I didn't mix up my pieces well enough so some of them are right next to each other....
The length is perfect the width is too small using only 24 pieces but I can add a border and make it wider. Had fun doing it and it only took 40 minutes....

The one thing I learned is when you are folding it up and sewing it - switch sides - that is how to keep the same pattern from blocking up against each other....when you sew down on the right side - after you cut it to open - flip it over so your sewing down what was the left side....I want to go buy another jelly roll now so I can try again....
