I've been wanting to try a Bergello quilt for a while now, and I need a quilt for my bed, so when I saw the tutorial for Barb's Bargello here on the board, I planned that it'll be my first queen and first bargello quilt. It took a while choosing fabrics(I wanted to make it in Fall colors since that is how my house and room are decorated), then making the panels and the cutting and the sewing and the pressing and repeat,it took me two days just to add the borders on :!: I am so tired of this quilt right now, lol, but happy with how it turned out. My hubby loves it and can't wait until I get it quilted and on the bed. I am planning on renting a longarm and quilt it myself--may regret that decision later  --but for now it is a plan!

This is a beauty. You'll do fine with the longarm. Please send a pic when you're done.

Verp pretty. I think I have that pattern. So far the only bargello I've made is a wall hanging so I applaud you with starting so BIG!
