Do not hesitate to call 911 and don't feel sily because you think it might be something else.

I have atrial fibrillation I am currently controlling WITHOUT meds, which made me miserable, but I am allergic to aspirin!

Thank you Ditter!
Must put that on my shopping list.

Interesting note: I had one of THOSE moments last night.

It must have been all the images of the tsunami that caused me to have my nightmare where I had to "evacuate" the house along with my family and I was rushing around trying to get all the essentials, qhile my family stod around watching. I eventually got up to find my heart really racing. It eventually calmed down and I got back to a dreamless sleep. But while sewing and rethinking the event I had to laugh at the thought of people saying...."He/She died peacefully in their sleep." If I had died last evening, it would not have been peacefully! LOL!
That really got me thinking about that saying....and I don't think I'm ever going to personally say it....because....how would I know? ;-)

And also remember that a woman's symptoms are much different than a man's. From what I understand woman suffer upper back pain rather than chest/arm pain. Great information Ditter, thank you.

I have a Philips HeartStart Home Defibrillator for my house and we take it with us when we go anywhere. It can save a life so why not have one?
