Whoopie pies, I love whoopie pies and have always wanted to make them. I have a recipe for Red Velvet ones that I have to try someday. Still on the bench in the state that is round on the ends (like me - at least on one end) and high in the middle. :-) But waiting and watching is half the fun.

I love Lucy was a great time of my life. Things just seemed quieter and better. More homey. I guess cause most mama's were home in the day and we all sat down to eat together. My mama would sew or iron or clean house, bake a cake go to pta mettings.Times were tuff but mostly no one talked about it. Love the Lucy fabric and the memories. thanks for sharing Mary

I am so excited I can hardly stand it! My mail doesn't usually come until after 4:00. I got out of work today and stopped by my LQS and ended up chatting for an hour or so. When I got home at 1:20-my mail had come already and I THINK MY SQUISHY IS HERE!!! It is a registered parcel so that has to be it. I am excited for my squishy but also I never received an international package before. I got right in my car to pick it up before I realized the darn carrier would still have it! So my secret pal-if I can't get there tonight I'm going to have to wait another day! BOO HOO!

I'm still on the bench with the rest of you and today I think I will bring strawberries. There has been way to much good stuff on the bench so maybe we need a healthier treat today!

Sounds very nice, happy birthday. Just finished baking some chocolate whoopie pies for afternoon tea to celebrate the wedding willing to share!
Thanks, it was a couple of days ago, but the cake is still good. Those whoopies sound yummy.
