another twirly skirt

Whoo hoo! I got my serger working yesterday! So I made DGD another skirt. She wanted pink & purple so I had some tinkerbelle fabric.

This one is much fuller and I sewed shorts into it too.

Disreguard the jammy top she's wearing. :lol: Just had to let her have a twirl :lol:

I have a serger/cover stitch machine but I've never gotten it out of the box. :oops:

When you mentioned using your serger I happened to think ,that when my mom made my skirts like that back in the 50s there were no sergers and how she would sew a double seam to keep them from raveling on the under side. Thanks for the memory.
