I'm too accident prone & would surely end up injuring myself.

i don't have anything fancy but i tied a long piece of elastic onto a small pair to wear around my neck for when i'm quilting, it's a bit annoying but handy

I wear a lanyard when some squares or pieces require a lot of snipping or when I'm moving from space to space so it's convenient and always with me.

I always wear a small scissors on a lanyard around my neck for snipping threads. I've not had a problem with it.

If I could figure out how to do it, I'd wear a seam ripper as well!

I'd at least try it if it were snips instead of scissors and if it were retractable (don't want much do I LOL) because I can never ever ever find my snips when I'm sewing. I'm used to wearing that sort of thing around my neck because I have to wear a badge at work.

I have a pretty chatelaine that a secret pal made me that has a tiny pair of gingher stork scissors on one end. An emery and a place to hold needles on the other. So now I wear my new chatelaine with joy! :)

I've never worn scissors around my neck because I was afraid I would injury myself. I did see someone at a quilt retreat with her scissors around her neck but they were small quilting scissors with rounded ends. May try that if I can find that type of scissors.

The dangly-ness of it would drive me nuts! Also the weight. Nothing more than a fine chain necklace around my neck, for me!

I don't like wearing lanyards with name tag when I have to. When possible I take a pin or brooch to pin it down! :)
