I was reading a thread on here, and a couple of people mentioned they wouldn't fly in an airplane..I am going on 52, and have never flown in a plane, just totally freaks me out.. hubby says I would love it... I beg to differ, LOL, keep thinking I could fly to Vegas or something, about an hour and 1/2 , if I hate it I can rent a car and drive home, alot of my friends can't understand how I can get on the back of harley but won't fly in an airplane.. just wondering how many have a fear of flying?

Nope I won't get on a plane either. I have nightmares about planes and wake in an anxiety attack.

I won't fly unless there is a emergency. The last time I got on a plane, we were inside the plane for 2 1/2 hours till they took off. I will never do that again unless I absolutely have to.

I'm usually asleep before the door of the plane is closed. ;-)

So what do you have to do to get into the Mile Hi Quilter club?

Just curious.

I hate to fly Have done it 3 times, 1st hadn't seen my parents in 2 years, bad experance, drove 2000 miles home. 2ed time 10 years latter had a chance to go to Denmark, long rough flight, left fingerprints in arm rest rows 6 people wide, felt like a sardine bad weather all the way there and back, 3ed time my son's wedding 30 yrs later bad landings, bab weather, long delays. Decided if GOD wanted me to fly he would have given me pinfeathers.

I don't mind it at all, and I have a fear of heights and I don't drive on freeways...

I hadn't flown in a long time and wondered if I would have any problems, but I didn't.

Maybe give it a try, fly there with the option to drive home...

I don't travel much any more cause I get motion sickness but other than that it's the only way to go.
